A nice (and completely free) MMORPG I currently play is Silkroad Online.

Generic korean mmorpg with some unique elements, but incredibly fun.

PS people who play at the moment are me, Demarthl, Tmed, stfrn, Hart, Grono... and probably more I can\'t think of right now.

Hmm ill check it out.. im bored.. like most other people in this world

anyone that knows of some great mmorpgs that are free of course feel free to share... I would like to have more options then I currently do.

Edit: Yeah Silk road looks pretty good... reminds me of Knights Online alot considering the interface and whatnot.. just with enhanced graphics which do look nice.

/me looks around for a catch to this

Silkroad is most definitely not for anyone using a connection lower than 300k.

I would have loved that game, but there was one essential problem...As soon as I logged in, I crashed, and a window popped up that said nothing but ? marks. [Guessing that it can\'t read japanese warnings]

So, another good MMO down the drain for me...

You didn\'t miss much it\'s like Martial Heros and Knights Online but with horses and camels.

install korean language packs, set it as default and run silkroad through a MS program called applocale

Even if it\'s not a mmo I would recommend Little Fighter 2 very cool game really really really fun.

Hint:Type lf2.net at character select screen to unlock all chatacters

which ones involved a decent amount of strategy? Political interest? Player interaction? Role playing?

Yayoo, for the game you posted, I keep getting a virus alert, and my Norton keeps pointing to this game. I\'m not concerned, because it keeps getting blocked, but if no one has a good antivirus system, I advise not to download that game

Try downloading it from cnet. It\'s a fun game, though it\'s an arcade game and not an RPG in the slightest.
