Alright

EDIT: Zanzibar, I\'m guessing you play, then, mind a network battle?

SRO involves strategy and player interaction... but not if you\'re looking for Master of Orion-like strategy or, I dunno... Neopets player interaction (I seriously don\'t know any games that have some \'special amount\' of player interaction, at least not beyond any other game anyway).

Web page of Silkroad Online is optimized under below condition.
Windows Operation Systems ( Microsoft Windows 9X/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 )
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above.

Yeah, let\'s go with \"never visiting that page ever ever ever again\" :)

I don\'t know any other mmorpg\'s sorry.. Except runescape, of course.. But that isn\'t exactly one I would recommend :)

have anyone here seen secondlife?
http://secondlife.com/

it is very odd in that it is, at its base, a purely capitalistic mmorg.. complete with land ownership, buying and selling products and exchange rates to \"real\" currencies.

but with that said, it is quite amazing .. i personally did not really find it fun to play mind you.. but amazing in that is really one heck of a  socio-economic experiment.  everything is apparently built and owned by the users (they have rights to what they build anyway).. which ends up, go figure, resulting in lots of casinos.. but also clothes that people sell, and i saw a weird rollercoaster.. anyhow, the feeling i got from it is that it is like one crazy vegas

Apparently, according to some economists, people *can* make more money in this game then they can doing \"real\" jobs.

ref
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1271788.cms

anyhow, i would say it is simply worth checking out for the spectacle.

your going to not try a great game simply because the site development team optimised their site for the worst net browser in history?

shame that, all you have to do is bare with the site to sign up, no more then 3 minutes, then just click the download link, thats another 30 seconds, and never have to go back again.

and besides, site works fine through firefox

Meh, kinda fun anyway. Would be more fun fighting someone who actually has skill playing, the computer characters are inferior to me...:P

Ehh.. Actually, it doesn\'t work in firefox.. At least, not the firefox I have, or the firefox view in netscape...  And it\'s not that it\'s optimised for IE, it\'s that they won\'t even let people TRY to view it in a decent browser. Don\'t tempt me though, I\'ve been downloading like crazy since I got my new internet :\\

shocker, resurrection of something forgotten.

oh hey, still playing silkroad, most of its bugs are fixed, though logging in can be a pain, it often lags out and disconnects you and attack speed flies outthe window, buuuut when its not throwing a tantrum its still a really good game.

good luck catching up though, stfrn is having trouble with that xP

So, why the hatred for http://www.runescape.com?

Also, there is a fun flash RPG at http://aq.battleon.com/build30/game.asp

Well firefox displays this part quite well but there is no way to advance beyone this.  Besides, if a page was coded IE specific, thereby ignoring WWW Consortium standards then it sounds like a waste of my time anyways.
