Suddenly a downpour began. I was on my way to assist my Duke, Railen, in battle against The Outlaws.
This is where it all began for me.
I was used to seeing Aldaaren Phostle in his usual place beside the fountain near the Hydlaa Library. Today though I found him in the plaza. Intreguied by this I stopped to listen,
He shouts,
"feel the rain and listen to its whispers!
THE DARKNESS IS COMING!
DOOM! Doom i tell you!"
Dark wispers of the end of days could be heard from teh surrounding mob of people. I of course called all my friends over, since this was different behavior from the man, and the excessive rain was making me a bit edgy. Suddenly though, Aldaaren began walking back toward the library. Me and the crowd surrounding him followed him immediatly. Right before reaching he library...
Aldaaren "Why do you follow me!!"
Lenade "What is coming Aldaaren?"
Aldaaren mutters something about the Enki's and walks away.
Leoflic "what of us?"
Aldaaren shouts: THE DARKNESS!
Suddenly he resumed running, heading past the library and fountain and to the path to Oja, shouting on the way,
Aldaaren shouts: Librarian do you hear me? Prepare yourself!!
Aldaaren shouts: DOOM! Doom i tell you!
Aldaaren says: Oh, doom! Doom and destruction! Woe to all of Yliakum in the days to come!
Not getting the answers I sought from him, I challenged him to fight. Probably not the best idea looking back... He declined though so I guess it had little significance. As we reached Oja road most of us thought that something would happen on the road itself. The sky darkened to nearly pitch black, and the rain continued as hard as ever.

As I lead the group many drop off, too tired to continue to the Bronze Doors. I also found out that in my absence, my duke was slain by the outlaws. For not being there for him, I was demoted in rank, but after I explained the situation I regained it.
I explain the situation to many on the way to the bronze doors. When we get there though, we are disappointed... The Bronze Doors seem normal, peaceful even...
Many people arrive at the Bronze Doors, and eventually gather at the eagle platform. We discuss what might be the cause of all this for about 30 minutes... Explanations range from Octarchy conspiracies to the Derghir. It is apparent though that nobody ahs a clue.
