I waste my time browsing very old threads.... Kixie's posts appear not too far back... so I wouldn't justify him as old... I started PS about 2 years ago... Although at that time I didn't know planeshift had forums, and I thought shields worked... HA!
... A lot has changed in ps over the pass two years, many old role players are gone, many new role players are here, you'll find many new quests, items, weapons, armor, places, npcs, and the like...
Many wars have been fought amongst guilds, many movies have been posted on youtube, many GM-events have been played out. Really your question should be, what has happened since EL joined ps.... heh, thats a bit narcissistic of me.... But its true, theres too much to list and say, even by category... The best thing I can say is to jump in PS and look at the changes yourself. Since we just updated the lag isn't too good, but in due time that always fixes itself... its common for the newest release to lag... at least until the GMS tell us to runt he updater and many bugs get fixed, and holes, patched up.
Its great that what I'd call an elder, is back. I hope you have as great of a time as you once upon a time did.
