Jirosh Stolen Statue Stuck

After speaking to an NPC in Jirosh Stolen Statue quest,  I gave away a quest item, then I said the wrong thing. I cannot make the NPC repeat itself without the quest item, and it says I cannot discard the quest because it can only be done once.  Help?

Usually you dont have to make him repeat himself. Theres no need to answer him right after his sayings. Normally you can give him a wrong answer thousands of times, and then make it the correct answer, it still should work.

No, I said the correct answer after the wrong one but it didnt work, then I logged out.

Was the wrong thing you said possibly something else he understood within his knowledge area?

A GM told me I am not stuck, I just need to say something to the NPC, which seems really hard to find.

I got this quest, but didn't get the item he was supposed to give me (the clue). Maybe I should have clicked on the "give" button to get this item? Anyway, I can't make him restart his speech, or restart / discard this quest, so I'm stuck.

Fill out a petition in game and a GM will assist you when they are online. Or you can try finding a GM or myself on IRC.
