did you put the run me first thing in with the five parts as well? and what do you mean by it wont work? does it give an error message or do you click on it and nothing happens?

Does it open a dos window? And does this window dissapear before you can read what it says?

If so, go to dos mode and try running the batch file again to see what it says. (that is ofcourse if you aren\'t running xp which has totally killed dos)

yeah that\'s exactly what happens ... but my OS is XP ... so what can I do?

edit:
I run dos with wincommander and it says: (on german grml) The System can not find the quoted data files (or so) ....

and the md5: no such file -

you could try opening the batch file with notepad and insert a PAUSE command. But i don\'t know exactly where to put it.
You can try experimenting with it. ?ou can try inserting the command after the command where you think the batch file returns you to desktop.

well, this is what is supposed to be in the run_me_first batch file:

copy /b PSV0.2.006.Part1 + PSV0.2.006.Part2 + PSV0.2.006.Part3 + PSV0.2.006.Part4 + PSV0.2.006.Part5 PlaneShiftV0.2.006.exe

if it doesn\'t match up with what you got (which i highly doubt) edit this in. Or maybe the filenames are not named correctly.

I have XP and the DOS window comes up and goes through the whole process, but when I click to start Planeshift I get this:

Installer corrupted or incomplete.
This could be a result of a corrupted download or a virus.

I\'ve tried everything and it just doesn\'t want to work.  Ideas?

Edit: I also tried downloading the md5sum.exe file...and DOS (or the lack of it) never recognizes it even exists.

I think I need to re-download because Part 5 was only 103Kb  ;)

But please tell me that the other parts are 19,532Kb?!

I\'m getting the same problems, but my error says that there was an illegal command.  If anyone knows how to fix this let me know please.

please look at the tool given at the very bottom of the download page. It\'s made to check the integrity of file you have downloaded.

uh.... dude, that program doesn\'t work, it opens the cmd window and then suddenly closes, not telling me anything about integrity.
