Game Crashes

Hello There.

I am using Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon and have installed the game and am now in the Tutorial section. Most things are working fine, but the game crashes often. There seems to be no specific trigger that sets off the crashes, it just happens randomly.

Same with me: I'm also using Ubuntu Gutsy (7.10) with PS 020. The game loads perfectly well, but when I do something, be it walking around or changing some settings, the game crashes and I have to restart the computer (usually through Als+PrintScreen+B). The command line output is almost identical, only some details that I think are non-essential (like "Object XY is not closed" or "Multitexture units") are different, but the last two lines are identical.

try to launch pssetup and activate vbo buffers

I'm not sure 100%, but do you use the right drivers for your card? Not really directly addressed to the crashes, but would improve a lot your game experience.

What card do you have?
