Graphic issues during character creation.

Hello.

I'm currently running (or at least trying to) Planeshift on an Intel Celeron 430@1.73GHz CPU, with 1024 MB system RAM, 32-bit Vista Home Premium.

I'm having a little trouble. Whenever I connect to the server, the screen does not display properly:

If I work out where the character creation button should be, and click in that general area, it loads another screen, again improperly:

I can fill out a name, but if I click a race, I lose the ability to click any other button:

I assumed running the Updater would sort this out, but when I do, all I get is:

Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated.

you missed the obvious bit what is your graphics card?
but even then update your graphics drivers to fix it. oh and the updater message is correct. we've taken it off line becuasse it was downdating to 3.19

My graphics device is a Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family.
Main driver is igdumd32.dll

I have no idea what aforementioned .dll is/means/does.

there has been chatter about the intel graphics card not being the best. but you'll want to check in with the maker, either give them a call or check their website, of the computer on how to upgrade the graphics drivers.
