« on: November 16, 2007, 06:53:12 pm »
Okay, so I have like quite a few of those Hexa things
How do I use them/change them to trias?

Sorry. ><;;

I'm a beginner, guys, we all have to start somewhere

Ok first off, whats to be sorry about? And we don't call new players n00bz, as thats kinda mean xD

Secondly don't be so timid, the only person around here that bites is Elvi... And if you throw him some cat nip he forgets about everything.

Now, there are no ATMs in planeshift, although if you need a smaller amount of money say, only a few trias, kill something weak and sell its hide. I've never been all that good at collecting specific pieces of money, but I know for some quests specific pieces are needed. try selling some stuff. Say you need three trias, sell a rat hide, and those are easy to get a hold of.

pretty much just go looting monsters, and then sell what you find, you're bound to get the stuff you need.

I'm pretty sure a more sophisticated method is being worked on by the devs, though.

I'm timid because my last topic I posted, I got some pretty critical remarks TBH.

Thanks for the help. n_n

:P

that, critical?

Ahem well thats what I would call constructive-criticism, no one is attacking you for being new, or without knowledge, they just are trying to help.

No one trolls threads looking to smash other players into oblivion.. hehe... Well, not anymore at least.  :whistling:

Careful who you zap mr. elvi, for what goes around comes around.  ;D

:P annnnyways.... Welcome to Planeshift, again, have fun, read the players guide, and don't forget to roleplay, and be friendly, as much as your character will allow anyways.

And trust me, thats not criticism xD
I know the people around here decently, we're good fellas and gals, one of the kindest and most helpful communities *I've* been to. You'll find it nice and toasty.

Back on topic, I believe there is actually one npc, in Ojaveda even, who acts as a money changer. Look around up past Trasok's shop near the hides dealer if I am not mistaken. I may be wrong but I think I saw one around there the other day. There might be one in Hydlaa, too, but I do not recall running into him/her. Most merchants give change and do not require you to have the exact number of tria for your purchase, it is just the quests that seem to need the exact currency.

Well where is that?
I haven't in the foggiest where I am at the moment anyway.  XD

If you are looking into town from the gates Brado's Tavern will be right in front of you, Trasok's shop is the first one on the left against the wall (he is a dwarf), and so on up the hill. Talking to the npcs helps ;)

And he actually changes money now, instead of just bragging about it then refusing to make change? I'll have to check and see next time I'm around East Hydlaa.

I went over to Worrem and if there is a way to actually make change now implemented I couldn't figure out how to get it to work.
