A public killer--gone missing?

Searith Idella, Ynnwn

Birthplace: Unknown.

Birthdate: Unknown.

Age: Unknown.

Height: Average Ynnwn, 2/2.5 meters.

Crime: Convicted of mass killings in public as well as taking important government documents. These documents have been recovered, however many of her victims were unidentifiable. Those close enough to her that did not die report her wielding a katana of some sort. Searith is now considered to be missing; she has not been seen for weeks, and there have been no reported killings.

What really happened, was that Searith had successful parents. A successful home. A successful life suddenly stripped away from her. (Of course, more detail would be released as the RP progressed.) Suddenly, in an unknown tragic accident, it was taken away from her. A bloodlust at the loss of all her parents raised her to depend on started to form. Searith would be the killer of over 57 people, mainly those who held positions of power. One day, however, she came apoun a strange imp-like creature. Seemingly harmless, she ignored it. The imp followed her, hopping along, until she finally drew her sword on him.

This was no normal imp. Searith, by the imp's power, was dragged into an alley after a severe blow to her head. The imp drained all the power she had gained throughout her life, including her memory. His parting words were, "By the power of the gods, no longer shall you kill, no longer shall you live a life where all fear you and you are free to roam... No longer".

Then she woke up, memory lost, possessions gone, except for cheap clothes on her back. Her life was turned back to start.]

[Nice idea, but pretty standard. 57 people killed? Come on, stay realistic. Imps don't exist in Yliakum, so think of something else. A Katana? That's unknown as well. You should modify this slightly. Besides, mark what is OOC and what is IC. I happen to find this confusing in your story.]

[Well, to be honest, I actually wanted to create an entire nation I've been making for a while now; but 1: I don't think anyone would allow a player to make something that big, and 2: I didn't think incredibly hard on this char. I'm waiting for new models to be released so that I can use my other characters which I HAVE thought about.]

(I have to agree with what Donari said .. except for the part about the models. I do prefer to RP a character with an existing model, simply because it requires less OOC explanation and interruption.

Now as for your character, you're aware that a publically convicted mass murderer would have been sentenced to true death in Yliakum? Someone who killed that many important people is also bound to be known by a whole lot of guards. This means you're a wanted criminal and will not be able to wander around in large cities or past city guards? Also various lawful guilds and organisations will try to hunt you down.

I'm not trying to discourage you but just think that, however interesting this RP can get, it'll probably be over rather fast. Someone that unpopular and wanted either can't have much fun in-game or can't live very long. You might want to think up something a bit less severe to enjoy the character more. As for that Imp, replace it with a creature that does exist on Yliakum. I suggest a Derghir mage or some other intelligent race.)

I agree with zan I must say, im less inclined to make a character for a race with no model, and as far as I know im on the 'role player list'... or at least I'd hope, really because when people take on glance at a diaboli, they see a ynwnn, its only until they actually take the time and check to description and such, which people do in only two situations 1. they're reading your power level and deciding whether or not to kill you. 2. They're in a rp with you, and ok I must admit there is a third time... 3. they're just really bored and are reading random descriptions.

I would have to disagree and say yeah models do play a big role in rp, at least for me, they help in understanding a character without jumping into their description.
