Getting & making tutorial glyph

I cant figure this one out.
I got money (glyph)?? from Orphia & tryed putting it in the left box to purify...the blue green & yellow ..I tried them all.
I dont know if glyphs are just money or the glyph she gave me is invisible "like the dust".
She wont talk to me & Xar demands I give him a glyph to proceed.
Where do I get this glyph?
I see the purify icon..but my inventory is empty.

Well you were really pretty close. She gives you the money (Which comes in circle, octa, hexa, and tria denominations) so you can buy the glyph (something used for magic) from her.

If you right click on the NPC you should see a buy icon, and when you click on that you should see the glyph for (amazingly enough) the exact same amount she just gave you in money!

Then just do the steps like you were trying before and this time you should see an icon for a glyph.
