Sword Skill Bug

Okay heres my problem. Ever since I upped my Sword Skill to 24, I havent been able to recieve expience in my Sword Skill when I use a sword ! And on top of that, my sword hits are as weak as hell. When I use my dggers, no special stated daggers mind you, just normal daggers, I do around 115-140 damage per hit, and my swords now, even when I use a strong sword like a Dark Longsword or a Blue Steel Claymore, I only do around 5-20 dmage per hit ! the GM Alereie said that i would need to retrain my sword skill by 2 or 3 points ... one problem ... how the hell do you retrain already-used points ? hell how do you even retrain at all ? Does anyone have any answers to this ?

First what quality are these swords? Second what is your lvl in strenght and daggers? Third go see your sword trainer and see if he will train you a little more then go fight again.

Just go back to your last swordtrainer, and start training again till you see in your status window you can't train any more. If that doesn't solve the problem, there may be something else the matter. I've had the problem with all skills. Magic, Mining, Metallurgy, Smithing. Specially after a relog I have to "retrain" some skills to start practicing again, usually only takes 2 or 3 clicks.

* Addition:

It was the swords Kartinitso was using. The problem was resolved after using standard weapons in stead of Longswords and claymores with fancy names.

Still remains, daggers seem to be much more effective now than swords, even when the level of training on swords is higher.
