Hmmm wow, well I guess there is lots of me in Izzy, or she'd be a better true outlaw, if you get to know me ooc, even ask some of my victims I picked on, I am very nice and friendly, then again Izzy uses that to her advantage....But actually I tired to base Izzy less like me unlike my other char's I've done in the past...but in the end she's a bit like me as well.

I do however have a char that is nothing like me...

Greswold has my good spirit, but not my good moral guidance :innocent:

I guess that's it. I don't have a beard, but I am quite short if physical similarities count.

Hmm interesting,
Hoki started many years ago when I knew very little of roleplay so is mostly me with an added self confidence I don't possess.
Zinn, I  started him off to be as far from me as I could get, but gradually my personality has come through so now both Hoki and Zinn have my sense of loyalty and commitment.

Zan: Basically a philosophical wizard version of me. (Same reason as Mordraugion, I started out with him.)
Giorn: Nothing like me, he's always cheerful, loves working and speaks with a funny accent. (Stereotypical dwarven miner)
Hwnae: Has my leadership and tactical skills, as well as his sense of honour and respect, but his personality is darker and grumpier than I am. (I find it actually therapeutic to play him.)
Grayne: Nothing like me, he is wicked, overconfident and has no respect for life. (Totally evil is very challenging for me.)
Others: I rarely play with them so I'm not mentioning them here.

Nice thread.

Im not very experienced in role-playing games so it's easier for me to base my character on me. So for example my general attitude to life and other people is the same as Meredee's ;) She is physycally weak and hates running, she has the same oppinion about the religion, she loves being in the nice places (like North Tower, BD), she loves birds, she likes to try and see new things, she's impatient etc.

Some of the differences are:
- I would never kill anybody ;-) and she regularly spends some time in the arena
- I dont poke people and dont stick apples on their horned helmets (and it's not only because people dont wear them irl ;) )
- she pouts all the time, I dont.
- she hates fish / I eat fish once a week :-)
- she is fascinated with magic.. I dont believe in magic
- she gave up metallurgy because it takes too much time to learn it... I wouldn't do it. Well, I wouldnt start learning metallurgy in the first place ;)
- she pays a lot of attention to her finger nails.

Recently Im trying to RP more things that I wouldnt do irl :-)
If you never try, you'll never know.

Heh heh, It's all me, baby. Even the parts that are not me are all me. Who else could they be -- Irene? (gratuitous Jim Carrey joke)

I share what some people might call cynicism with my characters. Generally I'm worse than them for it. Other than that, none really.

edit: In fact Parallo in particular is very different from me. He is training to become a priest of Laanx and tries to indoctrinate small children where as I myself am completely non-theist. :P

I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(

Heh. There was alot of me in Garris, but alot of role-play also.

-Garris was a debater of sorts, not on the level of Phinehas or Parallo, but he would openly debate others in taverns. I do that alot when I'm actually thinking
-Garris was a kind of loner, although he had strong ties to his clans and his friends, mainly Blayze and Nefert. And Duraza, later on. Yeah, that's me written all over it. Although I am more of a party animal than garris O--).
-Garris enjoyed a good fight. Not so much so for me, although.... :whistling:
-Garris enjoyed sword-arts. Yeah, most definitely me, I sometimes wish I had been born back in the swordfighting days, geek that I am :sweatdrop:
-Garris was very physical. Yeah, I tend to enjoy some fun athletic stuff, like hockey and soccer.
-Garris pwned. That's me.

Overall probably Garris was based more on my other characters in other games which were developed slowly, and with care. I was alwayhs of the opinion that Blayze and good ol' Nef held me back from becoming a totally "evil" character, but I was disgruntled with that. Duraza finally pulled me over to his side, and then I promptly had to leave. :'( eh.
60% me.

I feel so... notorious! :P

I suppose thats something else that I share with my characters (all bar one or two of them.) We debate things a lot.
