I've always tried to express myself as respectful as I can, be it a complaint, a critique or a wish. I surely could have posted more often in threads, where it's been about being grateful for the developers' hard work, but despite all the rants and complaints that appear on this board, I thought they'd know about how much we appreciate their efforts. After all, many of us are playing (and testing) this alpha version of a game with our heart's blood and favour it to other, even full developed MMORPGs.
And this, playing PS with heart's blood, is in my opinion the reason for the rants that appear when something went wrong in the players' opinion. They lose temper because they are.. hmm... 'in love' with the project, so to say, which makes them unable to formulate their complaints respectful at times. I, however, have failed upon that aim as well a few times, which I apologize for. Nevertheless, rants are critique too, miserably formulated, often angry, sometimes disappointed, or just purely cold-hearted; but they are critique, provided by people who want the best for the project, and of course the best for themselves. However, they don't see that they could have done much better in aiding the project, if they just expressed themselves more mature, and without lessering the efforts of the dev team, since that is what discourages the team from spending their time on the project, but much more, from spending their time on the forums and listening to our critique. We all need to be more patient with eachother, the dev team with the community, and the community with the dev team. Remember, we're all in the same boat; dig too many holes and it will sink.
Patience is the key, and that's what I think needs to be worked on, hence, my vote went to #2.
*Edit* Only the devs and WTBs shall vote? *removes vote*
