THE reason to buy the a DS, apart from some other reasons of TOUCH SCREEN :P
PSP FEatures small versions of other games, while DS has it's own ^^ (I think)

yes but what good is a game system if all of it's games bite?

the only game for DS I could imagine myself playing is forces unleashed... But, even then I have to question the controls for such an extensive game.

I have one of those already! :P

Well thanks for the responses peoples. I am thinking I will go for a DS lite. Poor Pyros_Wildfire, I am staring at quite a few DS's and in all different pretty colors. Tell you what, you find me a Wii and I will send you a DS in trade.  :whistling: BTW are you sure your DS didn't just commit suicide? Playing to many depressing games maybe ... he he he just joking.

X-/

That trade really doesn't work for me, but I know someone who will trade you a Wii for something your really not going to miss... and just so there's no misunderstanding... we all have one... or at least there are very few alive without ;D

??? Depressing games?, not unless you consider retro game emulators (i.e. spectrum & snes) depressing :P

[Wait for it, here it comes... you asked for it!] I find buttons really depressing if you push them hard enough ::)

My brother has a DS and from what I've seen, I'm glad I got a PSP. It's a novelty and it wears off.  Its like a gameboy that you look at and think "Oooh..looks! I can touch the screen!!!1!"

I've played the Wii a couple of times, it's like a Nintendo 64, only with a stick. Don't like it. And as for the PS3, what happened to the #@$%-ing vibration!? ;)

But primarily, I use my PC. Oh, and the Dreamcast.  ;D
Confusion is always the most honest response

"Retro game emulators"? ... VICE and CCS64.

BTW, I started with a "Commodore 16".

And I repeat myself: Consoles are a ripoff. With each game again and again you pay the difference to the price of a PC, until the balance turns over.

The Wii may be something unique due to the physical motivation, though.

I have both, and imo nintendo will always own the handheld world purely for the titles they have. zelda, pokemon, mario...
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

I had (and will again) software found on the net which allows the emulation of other past time consoles and home computers i.e. spectrum, c64, nes, snes etc... on the DS.

I remember my very first home computer was a C16/+4, many fond memory's of that machine and many hours spent playing a game called Zodiac :-[

I still prefer my PC though... after all i've bled for the damned thing ::)

Wii = Nintendo 64 with a stick?  What the hell were you playing, Sin & Punishment on the virtual console?

As for the DS, I got mine (the big silver one) the day after launch day.  I ultimately liked Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt better than Metroid Prime Hunters for some odd reason.  If there was one game I would recommend to anyone for the system, it would be Mario Kart DS.  Best Mario Kart ever.  Hell, best go-kart racer ever.  If I want to play 4-player, I play over the internet from home or college...against a bunch of random weenies who disconnect as soon as they're losing.

Hate the wii. It's for old people and kids.

PS3 is probably better than the three-shitty, but so far most of the games I've wanted were also for the X360 anyway (like Oblivion, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Bioshock, etc.) and future games (like DMC4 and GTA4) seem to be going down the dual-compatible route. As long as MGS4 isn't ps3-exclusive, I should be able to avoid touching one...
