Forum Calendar
« on: December 06, 2007, 11:10:51 pm »

Is this just a useless function? I can't seem to do anything with it. The calendar also seems to be off by six days, seven depending on what part of the world you live in.

It would be interesting if I could use it for PlaneShift events. Useful even.

*shrugs*

Works for me, just not much going on there. But 'useless'? Nah, without it I wouldn't have known about Christmas coming up. :D

What would be nice is if they would tell us in advance via calandar if the devs are gonna do something 'interesting' on a holiday. ;)

Mine is on the right day...
Have you told a Daylo 'I hate you' yet today? Do it. You'll get teleported to another area!

first what forum theme are you using? second only admin can modify the calendar so it makes it very hard for anyone else gm or otherwise to make notes as to events or things happening there.

Brown (PlaneShift) style.

Calendar contains only international and american holidays.

I already asked somewhere why it doesn't display e.g. the birthdays of members, as I was used to from lots of other boards.

It is in sync with the date for me.

I am using Karyuu's forum  theme.  All I can do is click on the calendar button, and look at the page of dates. That's it.

OH and forgive the confusion ..... I wasn't asking for the GM's to put notes in the calendar. I was talking about myself putting notes in the calendar for events that were taking place for me, not the community. :P

then it is working correctly.  thats all you can do with the calender atm.  before, it used to list every singe members birthday on it as well, but that was taken away.
