Hair changed color
« on: December 27, 2007, 07:45:05 am »
I checked the bugtracker, and searched the boards but didn't find anything similar to my problem.  A few days ago, about 12-23 the server was a bit unstable.  After a crash I came back and all my status bars, health, mana etc were all at 0% (which sometimes will happen when your connection times out as you are loading).  I walked away to grab a drink to come back to see Indy with black hair.  I didn't report it in bugtracker because I don't think I could create it again, I have no idea what casued it or I would change it back.  I was hoping it could be switched back to brown.

I suppose it's not repeatable. What happened when you logged out and logged back in? Did it revert to normal?

No that didn't have an effect.  Indy's had black hair for about five days now.

That's strange. I think you can get a GM to change it for you. Has anyone else noticed it?

hair color is database related.  GMs don't have access to the database, for obvious reasons.

So is there someone I could talk to about getting it changed back to brown or do I just shave his head?

How about you grab a bottle of hair dye and help me out  ;)  If that is my option then I will wait.  Did not know about that command thanks for the info Caarrie.

In the meantime, post a petition so we don't lose track of the problem and we can look into it as soon as we know how to fix it.

Will do.  Reason for not doing so was I figured it wasn't something a GM would be able to do.

Thanks.
