sword Excalibur

I guess most people here already know that there is a sword called Excalibur in the game. It seems some characters have it from the start, sometimes it just appears like the crystals.
I just met one of those huge stone-guys (sorry, I don\'t know the race\'s name right now) who got one through his creation. Still he couldn\'t equip it to somewhere else than his backpack. He only got the message, that he can\'t use the sword or that he can\'t put it in a certain slot.
When he dropped it, so that I could try, I could pick it up into my backpack. I\'m a cat-girl, and I think I got the ablitity for swords, too - but I\'m not sure Anyway, I couldn\'t put it anywhere else than into my backpack, too - but I got no messages at all.

I rather think, this feature isn\'t implemented completely yet, not a bug, so I\'m posting it here. Has anybody made other tests with the sword? Perhaps with some better results?

I also have a \"cat-gir\" character, got the sword Excalibur, and could not equip it.  (Believe me, I tried every slot, haha.)  Honestly, the equipping-items phase has not been implimented yet and is a ways off.

As for the people having it from the start, I have no clue.  Personally, I found my sword near the Blacksmith Shop whereas others found them in the Catacombs.  More than likely it is random compared to character creation, but I\'ve been wrong before.  

Just brag about having the sword, instead!  They are quite a find.

My guess is that you get the Excalabur if you chose \"Magic Weapon\" as one of your advantages.  I found one whith my dwarf character and tried to equip it (no luck), but then again, I only have axe skill.

I don\'t understand the point of your discussion. There are no weapons you can use so far. I\'ve got a sword from the beginning:P, but I can\'t use it as i can not use excalibur, which I found twice in the meantime.

But imho its because the handeling of weapons is not yet implemented...

Well, about the point of the discussion, Kunalf ... I now that you can\'t really use a sword yet. I just was confused why my friend got at last some messages when he tried to equip Excalibur, but I didn\'t. I\'m wondering if this is already a little part of the equipment-system, or if it is a bug after all.

Well, to be honest, I\'m not sure how the sword got in there in the first place.  

In the next update you will be able to equip some weapons ( They won\'t do anything but at least you be able to walk around with them ).  I think we have about half dozen different weapons that will be ready.    

We hope to have this update ready soon.

Ya weapons are not equipapble at this moment. the ONLY thing you can do is explore, talk and, dork around
