Help with aglyph that isn't working.

I just got a glyph, it is called might. I was told by a player who gave it to me that it was a realm 2 glyph, which i have guessed is that you need to be level 20 in the spell type to research it, but when i examine the glyph, it has 1 on brackets like this (1), and it has how many of them i have further down the description page, so obviouslt it is a realm 1 glyph. So does that mean i need to be at level 10 to research it.

You can see that I am confused, I need to know what level do i need to be to research this glyph, the might glyph as i have killed myself 3 times trying to research it and i am at level 4. I am not asking for a quest answer or any type of free loading, just a simple answer to a glyph problem so i know to stop bothering with it and to wait until i get to a certain level. I just need to know what level glyph it is as there isn't anywhere about glyph levels or what they are. Thank you for your time.

Levels 1-19 are realm one
Levels 20-39 are realm two and so on.  It will do no good to research it until you have reached the knowledge to cast it.

The glyphs do not have any indication to which realm they may belong on them. The number is only how many are in the stack.

it would be nice to be able to take a glyph to an npc and ask them info about it, assuming the npc is of high magic rank to be able to tell about that glyph shown to them.  if not, the npc could say something like "sorry, i'm not mastered enough in that particular way. go see xxx"

That's an interesting thought neko.  I'm assuming you'd have to take the glyph to someone who is a possible trainer in that branch of magic.  If you have any idea how many levels that npc can train, and *they* don't know about it, then logically you can assume that it is beyond that magic level.

Then they wouldn't *have* to tell you where to go, but they still could.
