A) Only the floating names are taken away. The names are still in the chat window.

B) The auction 'system' is not good as far as I am concerned. All it is is /shout in a new window. I do not think random people should be able to start a random shouting auction anywhere they want anyways. That just degrades it into something lame and infantile.

Actually, on svn at the moment it is exactly the opposite, at least for NPCs:
- name labels still tell acraig (non-gm character) all names of NPCs
- in the chat window it says "Someone says: Hark! Who goes there!" 5 times (for all nearby NPCs).
- targetted npcs show as [unkown] in info and description window (although the description itself may still show a

Well, thank you for your opinions.

I've read all that stuff about introductions now and as far as I can see, my thread is just another needless one.

It seems the Introduction-System will come the way, I (and obviously many others) don't want it to be.

So we can complain, argue and whatever ... it seems not even to be noticed by anyone responsible.

Yay, okay ... nearly 42% of the forum members voted for "invisble" but ... there are still 58% who don't.

Err ... never mind ... (yes, Phinehas I'm whining again) ... I will look for another way to auction things or just sell the whole crap to NPC's ... (without a chance of RPing it ... but well)

I understood that the auction tab works like a /shout that is just redirected to another tab.

Concerning the labels on svn version Lanarel described, I'd be interested in how responsible devs think about the label topic.
