Ban in PM's?
« on: January 18, 2008, 01:26:08 am »
Heya moderators and PS peeps.

I'll not mention any names, of course. But I would like to be able to block certain people from sending me Private messages. Is this already possible? Can it be arranged? And above all, is this function wanted by other people in the community?

:o There are actually people you don't want to talk with Proglin?! Well  holy flying hell cows on wheels! I never thought I would see the day!

* zorbels throws random stuffs at the persons responsible for Proglins issue's

Hope all is resolved and you get some peace and quiet Proglin. BTW it is nice of you to stop by and visit. :whistling: Now if only I can figure out how to con you into returning to just have one tournament. I know, it's a shot in the dark but well worth the try.

I bet if you sent your holy flying hell cows on wheels over to his house, they could probably persuade him...
"Here's to lowering caskets of old friends choice and consequence we'll birth a new day with the death of an old and start over, start over.  Here's to burying hatchets in those who you'd never call your friend...we'll birth a new day with the death of an old day and start over, start over!"

Then the question is does the sender know they have been blocked? Otherwise the sender might just keep trying to no avail to make contact. Could it be now that Proglin has left, he has made some enemies? That would be sad.

Noooooo, I bet Proglin would just take them away from me and have holy hell cow tournaments just to spite me. :P

Well that is a good question. Maybe they won't know.

I don't know why they would keep sending message after message if the first few weren't answered. Obviously he doesn't want to talk to the persons. Maybe instead of hounding the poor guy they could just take a hint and let it go and move on. I know I wouldn't sit there trying to PM someone who hasn't answered my last three or four messages. I just don't have that kind of patients. Let us hope for Proglins sake they don't have that determination.

Or you could just post publicly and let all potential offenders know in one fell swoop ;)

I can assure you that if you send a pm to someone blocking you you get informed that the message is blocked.

Trust me Velh I will not ever bother you again. Then you will not have to use this feature after all and that should make you and Noriin smile. :D

Still, Leama, you can trust me, I have not a hint of a clue of what you are about concerning these matters.
You told us so many times you would ruin our game. More than telling you each time, trying to convince you each and every single time we cant do, and to be honest, I am tired of it.
If you are so eager in believing you spoil our game.. uhm.. I cant help, feel free to do so  ::) .. as long as it makes you happy  :whistling:

Velh

I never once told you I would spoil your game play instead I tried to help out in a bad situation. I always admired your role-playing abilities. Sadly I put myself in the middle again and I am the one to suffer and not the one that should.

You know very well that my ever so political self would never concider such an evil evil thing.

Noooo, never block Phin!

Aaah shucks, no sneaking about. Well in that case... my dear offender... IN YOUR FACE!
