I find the game a bit impractical

First of all, thanks to the dev team for the awesome job.

I have some suggestions about the game: if speech is so important, can you make it so that messages that appear on the head of characters are written inside the visible area?
Second, why is the interface laggy? For instance, when I click on an npc, the menus take some time to pop up. It would also be nice to have some more visual confirmation of button pression.

The game is very un-optimized due to it being in alpha developement stages, and thusly things take longer to happen.  Closer to a beta state, those things will be worked on.  Primary focus of alpha developement is to get all the game mechanics completed, which PS is no where near complete with that task.  Game optimization takes precedence later.
