/shout a slight change?

Today i had an issue that could possibly benefit from a tweak to the /shout system.

I was standing by the furnce melting ores (watching system tab at per usual) When someone shouted for me. I didn't see/hear the shout obviously as i'm watching system tab. And even though the person then stood right behind me and shouted again, i stood there oblivious (I play the more realistic first person view, so i don't see people or their chat bubbles behind me )

Would it be possible/practical to roll /shouts over to other tabs?, system being preferable to me . I'm not really sure if shouts should infiltrate any other tabs, but it would be interesting to hear other peoples opinions on that.

P.S As usual i had a quick search on /shout just in case this has been suggested before, but well.... there were sooo many pages

or you could display the system messages in the main tab, where shouts already show. 

which already can be done in game.

How about a shout with your name in it be displayed on-screen similar to those red error messages if you are in range to hear it.

Then don't do that!
If you're not paying attention it's kind of your fault, if you wanna get involed in some way at least pay attention to your main tab a shout is nothing more then a /say thingie and the main tab is for that 
I for one would find it very annoying to 'hear' shouts in other windows aswell, as most shouts are ridiculous or not of interest to me in anyway

Hehe, i've tried that before but i end up with soo much irrelevant info in main that it gets confusing and hard to follow converstaions.

This one should just be put down as one of my bad ideas

the ultimate solution to your problem would be to simply have the chat interface tabs be able to be set up any way the user wanted, and have them be able to customize what ever goes in which ever tab, but that's already been suggested before.
