Although i realy regret the server is still down, I must bring my most sincere gratitude to the makers making this game possible. Wish I could program such things.

Server - are you ill or on strike? Or ist that the same when it comes to computers?  Please be a good server and let us play again. Life's just not the same without you and your wonderful game.
Wouldn't it be nice if all magicians in Yliakum could cast a healing spell on you? I'm sure Luzino would gladly do just that.

I am close to the Server if it is Singapore based, only a 3hr flight in a Pterosaurus (Er Virgin ..) flight. Want me to go up and check it out ?

why do you don't switch the server for a long time?

This is the result of "free" server in east asia... and no supporter in the direct near of the server

switch to german quality and you will have no problems so far...

how about this does not happen often and very few ps devs have access to the people that host the server to find out what is going on, and again ps is not right now looking for other servers or other ways to host planeshift.

and since when have you seen the hardware on the machine running the server? Please dont make comments like this when you have no idea what you are talking about. and NO i will not reply to this thread again for that matter it should be locked as useless in solving this issue.

i know what i talk.

and the server has some things that are to "old" (e.g. the RAM, in the 21th century we use DDR 2 RAM, because it's faster and stable)
anyway, you are a great semi "sherif" Caarrie. wich threads get lock will rule a mod/admin.

ah and a PS for the nice Caarrie: have a look to the "server" homepage (laanx.fracnetics.....) there stands the hardware - read, understand, post.

when more information is known, the appropriate people will respond.

locking thread, as the people that have the ability to respond to locked threads, are the only people that should be responding to this thread.

any more "why is the server down" threads will be removed on site.

at this time of writing, the server is physically down, and the team is waiting on contact from Fragnetics, who generously host the server for us.

if you are unable to have patience while this issue is looked into, please find a different game to play.

Small update; Laanx will be down at least another day while Fragnetics send someone to take a look at it. So don't stay up waiting for it, go read a book or run around outside

For those who don't know, the PSU on Laanx burnt out taking the motherboard with it, so Fragnetics had to relocate the HDD's to another (similar) box.
