Jirosh - List for Meirenz Dholant???

I got a quest from Jirosh to check on the status of an order from Merienz Dholant.  It was late when I got the quest, so I wrote in my notes "Give list to Merienz Dholant," shut the game off and went to sleep.

Now when I go to Merienz Dholant, I find that I have no list in my inventory.  I have the recipe and the drawing of the flower, but no list.  When I talk to Merienz Dholant about the order, he doesn't understand what I'm saying.

Was I suppose to get a list?  If so, why isn't it in my inventory?  Is it a bug?  I assume that I need it and have to give it to Merienz Dholant but I don't remember.  Or am I just suppose to rephrase my statement when I talk to him?

I see now that I'm not suppose to take on too many quests at one time.  That could be the problem but I only have one quest with Jirosh.

My first suggestion would be that you check your logs to see exactly what the NPC said.

If your in windows, you can go to the Planeshift folder in Program Files and you will find a "logs" folder with a file for each character.

If your not in windows let us know which OS and I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

I read the logs and this is what is said:

Jirosh Mikana (according to the log) give my character a list,but when I looked for it in my inventory I couldn't find one.  I know I didn't throw it away.  Oh well, maybe my character did without telling me.    Too bad I can't go back and ask for another list.

ok enough of being leet [hehe] for today, do you have any sacks in your inventory? if so check them and see if you happen to have the item there. If you dont see it petition a gm ingame and see if they might be able to help you out further.

Xzorn found it.  Was in pack the whole time.  List was in a book and I was looking for a piece of paper.

PlaneShift is a game that is under continuing development. New items are entering the game sometimes at a faster rate than specific graphics for a particular item can be created, submitted, accepted and then made available on the server. For example there is a pair of spectacles which, when appearing in your inventory, looks like a large sword.

With your inventory window open, just pass the mouse pointer over an item in an inventory slot and a small pop-up label will appear over that item.

Use Ctrl + Left Click to get a full description of that or any other item.
