Since a thread hasn't been made about it yet--as far as I can tell-- I decided to draw everyone's attention to this. \\o// We are not only getting a new release--as I had suspected was coming soon :whistling: anyway --- but it is version 4.00 not just 3.021. I personally have little developing experience so I believe that is a big thing to skip a lot of numbers like that. If I'm right I think we owe the devs a hand.

It's not "skipping a lot of numbers", it's just 0.3 --> 0.4 ;)
It's not like they would've gone on to 0.3.999 before 0.4 :P

But yes, prepare for Big Things. This is Steel Blue!

If people during the last version upgrade got Rings of the Past, do we get Rings of the Not-so-distant Past? :lol:

And just in case no one liked "Ring of the Not-so-distant Past."

*clears his throat and pulls out a list*

1. Bygone Bracelet.
2. Tongue Stud of Yesteryear.
3. Necklace of the, uhm... Not-Future. (alright, so some may be a little rough around the edges.)
4. Wristwatch of Olden.
5. Grill of the Ancients.
6. Toe Ring of the Past (a modern twist on an old favorite? :P).

and last but not least...

7. Nose Ring of Days Gone By.

*carefully folds up the list... then crumples it up and tosses it into the trash*

I think I have too much time on my hands today. ::)

[I was just getting used to Crystal Blue and now I have to accept Steel Blue?  What happend to the other crystals?  Is this going to have a negative effect on my magic training now that we move to a more physical realm in naming convention?] 

[Do I have my actual form now or do I still look like another race?]  It's so hard to be a Lemur that can barely run from town to the magic shop because of my lack of endurance and still look like those newbies that came here after my people settled here.  Running around with pink skin that barely get winded.  {Zikol shivers at the idea of being something he is not.} 

[Also will my friends look like they should?]  How should I find a mate of proper lineage when she doesnt look like me?  [Will I be able to see my friends in their true forms or are they still borrowed?]

I can't wait to see all the new stuff either but, in a weird way I think I am also kind of looking forward to what ever goofy glitches Steel Blue is going to inevitably have. Anyone remember a certain menki that didn't know a mug from an Energy glyph? How about that time when any time a character fell they'd crash the server. That last one was pretty annoying at the time but in hindsight it's pretty hilarious. :P

Oh, the joys of playing a game still in development.

Will gobbles start using primitive weapons and standing upright?

oh and ehum, yeah I want to see diaboli's too  :love: ... But I wouldn't get your heart set on that...
