Is the tutorial bugged?

I'm stuck on the first woman, and she is talking about "Give me x" and "about y." and I have no idea what to say, so I moved on the to the Dwarf, and now I'm stuck in the tutorial?

Read what she says. If you can't keep up with her chat, enlarge the chat window with the resize handle in the lower-right corner of the chatwindow. You probably missed some of her conversation, and need to say "yes" or "ready". The "give me x and about y" sentence is a standard response when you are doing something wrong :)

If you need more help or a walkthrough of the tutorial, I recommend reading these useful starting guides.

Because PlaneShift is not Runescape. Here, we actually talk to NPCs. (at least an approach to talking)

I'm sorry, I know me being a newb probobly frustrates you, but I have the book for the blacksmith, I just have to idea how to give it to her. :-\

Right click on the NPC and choose the give icon. Hovering your mouse over them should show a tool tip. Drag and drop the book into the give window and then choose the accept trade button at the top of the trade window.
