Newer Areas?

Hello. A few of you may remember me, and yes, I have matured considerably since I was last here. 

I was just wondering, since my character is an explorer type. One of the reasons I stopped playing was because there was a lack of areas I had not been yet. Have many new areas been put in since the whatchamacallit in Hydlaa (Giant pulley or something.) You don't even need to tell me what it is, a yes or no would suffice.

P.S. What version are we at? Any idea when Steel Blue is coming? (Most likely Soon™, I know.)
