Please for now just put up with it, there was a few bug discovered with the bread pieces and slices, that is why it was removed to be fixed.
1 i can share with you is bread weight is 0.5 after slicing and pieces, the end weight of all this is 16.0.
So if you are doing cooking, keep this in mind.
Run your permissions at least once a week. You will be amazed what it can solve.

Here is a question: just what are you cooking on/in? Would it happen to need a fuel source where you could put your burnt offerings? Just where does that heat come from anyway. If they are wood stoves they should be able to take bread and other things that are not too wet. Liquids ought to be able to be poured out on the ground....

There is an other thread about this issue there is currently no other way to get rid of these items because you can't eat them and no NPC buys them ;)

I envision a solution in which big fat Kikiris running around Oja :)

That or just make a button that when pressed allows us to choose and item to destroy.RP wise it may not be very logical but at least it wont be too much trouble.Well either this or the furnace.Or maybe an an endless capacity storage in-towns.In the form of...You guessed it.A trash pile.In the days of yore they realy weren't high on hygiene.

I vote for a food-offering shrine to Talad that gives you faction for burning bread :)

I was just about to suggest an NPC at or around the temple and one somewhere in Oja that collects donations of bread for the poor, but that's good, too.  :D

One thing is certain: littering is an unfortunate side effect of development. This bug report reminded of this cartoon. I guess it was filed by a sneak litterbug! Too bad the video is such poor quality.

They don't have trash cans in this world?  :-\

Seriously, either implement a vendor or someway to destroy items.  I would love a vendor to sell them too, but it never made sense to me to be able to dump hundreds of items on a vendor in unlimited quantities.  If you're worried about the RP aspects of it, put trash cans in the game that people can dump stuff into and it disappears as soon as you do it.  Assume that the NPC's are capable of taking out the trash.  Trash cans could be located near the tradeskill areas.

I think ideally a vendor would buy up to a certain amount in any day of game time.  After that, you'd have to dump the extra.  Just an idea.

Make it so you can make bread crumbs, and then make breaded fish, breaded kikiri meat, etc.

Or just have the kikiris and rats eat the crumbs.

Fill up a sack with waste and sell it. Pretty simple, unless that option has been changed. (I have been gone a while).

Excellent idea, one problem. Sacks don't hold as much as they used to... You can easily make way more bread pieces than several sacks could hold.

Make "waste sacks" that can hold more?

According to "the plan"....

Quote
Waste
Ducts that have been dug out in the rock are used to dispose of human waste. Larger rubbish and bodies are simply thrown into almost vertical and apparently endless wells. Nobody seems to care about where all of this junk finally ends up, since the stalactite theory is only devised by some Xacha scientists and has not been proven yet. Dead bodies are eliminated the same way. Though discarding dead in such a callous fashion would seem rather shocking, neither of the two main faiths at Yliakum requires particular care nor reverence to dead bodies. To the people here, a body is simply a non-functional apparatus or an empty shell with no soul. However, nothing is ever thrown into the lake. The law forbids this disposal method not only out of courtesy to the Nolthrirs, but also to protect the seaweed population. Polluting the lake is one of the few crimes punished with death.

Where are the ducts?

Just keep in mind that for the moment, dropping items anywhere is not the best way to dispose of them. If they cannot be turned into dust in the furnace and then disappear, contact a GM so they can take them and have them deleted.
