Client Disconnection

For some reason I have been getting the Client Disconnected error when I'm playing and It has never happened to me before, and its not just once in a while its more like I dont even get a full minute of on time.

My firewall hasn't changed in a long time, it shouldn't just now start acting up against PS. or would it? and if it is the problem how do I fix it?

I just realized that my firewall isn't even on.

Since one or two weeks I also get disconnected once or twice a day without reason. This lasts a few minutes and then I can reconnect. I checked what happened and during that time, I cannot connect to laanx at all. That means, even the webbrowser cannot connect. If I remember right (not sure) even the dns lookup fails, but other sites are ok and I stay connected to IRC for example. This might be an internet hick up. If this is the case, the PS team cant do really much about it. If it happens to you try to open http://laanx.fragnetics.com/ in your browser as a first step.

Zwenze this happens to me like 15 or 16 times a day and it only effects Planeshift and I can log back on immediatly

PS has been kicking me off if I idle without any actions for several releases now. It's annoyed the hell out of me, but no one has been able to pinpoint why it happens either Is your case similar, or are you actively moving your character around / chatting / etc. when this happens?

Work is going on in the network-connections area of PS, so it might be better next release
