Wrong/moving spawning points?
« on: April 27, 2008, 11:59:01 am »
Hello!

I have noticed a rat trapped in the wall(door?) at the end of the alley in the warehouse district in Ojaveda. It tried to move in the wall but was unable to free itself. I killed it to free it from its trap but instead of appearing at its original spawning point in the alley it spawned right in the wall again. May this be one of the sources for the NPC-client to become unstable?

With kind regards
Kaityra

Interesting. A while ago, a friend of mine noticed a rat stuck in the wall of the tavern in Ojaveda. She couldn't even get at it because NPC's were down at the time.

I imagine at some point this will be resolved though some type of pixel collision detection.
When I die I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather.

The collision detection was just one part of the problem. The problem with the rat could have been solved in my case if it would have returned to its original spawning point.
