Hornquist is Missing

I started my avatar May 3, 2008, I went to find Honquist the blacksmith, as the guide in the forum said, I asked around and found where I should be able to find him...he is missing, I'm so new that this may be normal .. I searched around the forum for answers but could find none. I would appreciate some info on Hornquist, and his location.

Harnquist disappears ("goes home to take a rest" ) during the in-game night. Check the time in your info-window (underneath the differently coloured bars for health, stamina, mana). He will be back in the morning. Other NPCs can be moved as well, so don't panic if someone is not at his/her usual place .

now that is a cool aspect...I love that NPC's have a life and follow a daily routine, Kudos to the Devs!

Yeah, that is kind of cool.  Also a bit annoying when you need a particular NPC in a pinch, but overall, I really like the idea.

I remember when Harquist used to take off for days on a binger. People started making characters, there was one called Hornquist, and standing in for him. It was quite funny OOC. Completely irrelevant to the topic, but the spelling reminded me of it.

Yeah, I've heard the Harnquist apparently has a drink problem too. Or maybe this is just gossip. Here's another theory. Perhaps he is having a secret love affair with Tryllyn!
