extreemly high ping and exsessive lag

high pardon me if this is a dupe thred however idont think it is i looked in a seach and could not find anything i have been playing ps for upwards of 10 months now and with unless the server has been having "isues" then i have seen a regular ping of 280 to 420 i am guessing however this stoped a few days ago when the ping sudenly was 1k or higher for the entire time i am in or trying to get into ps and lag is exsive in areas such as the bronze doors routs and oja routs unless there was "isues" with the server noone els i have talked with has experenced i have no firewall on in my router it is alowed to be accessed through my built in firewall on my mac (i have tryed with that off aswell no help)  my os is as listed
     
      mac osx 10.5.2
      vram 64mb
      ram 1gb
     not shure this is right but under graphix/displays it says: chipset modle: gma 950 (if thats not my grafix card please tell me where i can find it)

    *edit* changing camra does not help at all its the smae for 0/1000 ans it is for 1000/1000

a ping in arround 300 is normal. at least in north america. if you are in the west pacific you can get a lower one.

the lag you were seeing isn't network lag it is graphics lag.

but, not sure what would be causing the 1000 ping you saw. could be local network trouble, on your end. or compy loading. i've had 8 digit pings when my compy would load right down.

in the ingame settings make sure your fbs limit is not set very low had over 2k ping because of it been ste to 0

well i am pritty shure its not grafix lag as i have get ther ping on the main login screen however the mouse rairly moves (put my other mouse overtop of the screen by putting it over my dock after starting the game) and ig.... compy loading? is that your comp loading the game or vareous other things? if not tell me please becaus i can say in 1 area for over 3 of 4 hours and it does not stop... i am not in BD so that does not help me its in all areas as for FPS settings i have not changed them the entire time i have played this game so i dont see why thay would change themselvs


  *edit* i decided to check the fps and turns out it had been changed! buy itself to!   

      thankyou for evryone who helped me with this problem and tanks to the devs for making such a great game with greater posabilitys
