Here is another question
How do you deal with community members who do not take the game officials seriously?

Cut the spam people!

You say press release pack. That would seem to indicate some official connection to PS and that this is an inside request as opposed to someone unfamiliar with the game. What is your status here and why should we help?

I do not mean to be offensive but if it is the former, declaring it might get you more cooperation from the community than if it were the latter and you are too lazy to do your own research. Most team members have an indication of their status beside all their posts. I do not see yours so that is why I ask.

Ahh, I see from your other thread WTB status, perhaps this could be added to your profile by the Administrator or board moderator.

Here is a question :)

What is your feeling about character continuity, do you like to start with a fresh character database often or do you try to retain players achievements as much as possible.

Thanks for the feedback prolix and no offense taken in any manner - in fact you raise a valid point in regards to ganing the support from the community.

To confirm I am part (WTB) of the prospect team and have requested to assist with the PR and Promotion of PS.

Unfortuantly for myself i am no programmer, artist, sound or graphic engineer, however i have been active in sales, promotion and marketing for over 15 years, was made an affliated professional of the chartered institute of marketing in 1999,  have run my own marketing services business's, direct sales figures i believe last tot up it was something around 2.7 million pounds of direct sales i had generated my clients and employers (most of which have been in the sme market), was active in combating rogure trade within the construction industry, about to launch a business installing solar engergy sytems, performed as project leader many times and much more....

The only way i can contribute to this great project, which i have casually observed other the last 5 or 7 years is by using the skills i have to help recruit more players, more developers and to represent PS and its community in as high a positive manner as i can.

I will post some details on my background and experiance a bit later but right now im lacking a little in time - but ill tell you all about me later and why i think this project is so fantastic.

Put simply, PS - a dream started by role players for role players, developed and loved by its contributors will significantly change the way online gaming is formed forever.

If you where to interview the project leaders of the PS project - for example if you were a journalist - what woud you ask?

Im developing an interview of what you - the player and the reader would like to know the answers too.

However you must bear in mind that these questions could end up in a press release pack - so if its bollocks ill delete it, keep your questions relevant to the PS project and no flaming.

Answers on a postcard please - ok maybe not, but put them here instead.

O.O someone needs spellcheck. Sorry, piprees, I must give into my 'red pen'. :)

Just trying to clarify here what you're trying to do. You are collecting information on what would be the most commonly asked questions about PlaneShift, then compiling them into a Q/A for a press packet? Or so that you can tailor the press packet according to what would be the FAQs? Or is it for news releases too?

No problems, i know spelling is not my strongest of strengths :)

To answer your question, you hit the nail right on the head.

Im compiling a list of the most common and interesting questions that people want to know about the project, the developers and the players specifically for a press release pack to be used in promotional material and release to media agencies.

This list of questions will then be placed into an "interview questionare" which will then be submitted to people of interest with slight tailoring to make the interview personal.

FAQ's about he project itself i believe have already been heavily covered, although if people raise questions not answered within them then they will be considered.
