I just downloaded Planeshift.exe and i did the \"run.me.first.bat\" and I got the Planshift.exe icon in the folder. But when I try to click the Planeshift thing, it says...\"Installer corrupted or imcomplete. This could be a result of a failed download or corruption from a virus. If desperate, try the /NCRC command line switch (NOT recommended)\" So please help!!! I really want to play Planeshift! ?(

Well the information the exception gives you is that the \"Installer corrupted or imcomplete\" so perhaps this means you should try to download the whole thing again.

Are the 4 first PS files 20,000,000 bytes and the 5th 8,398,047 bytes as the download page says? There is even a tool at the bottem of the download page that will check if your files are exactly what they should be.

Huh. Thanks though. I downloaded the whole thing (again) and it worked.... Except (Look at the thread \"HOLY *$&@!!!!!!\") And there\'s a better game already at              http://www.kingsofchaos.com

Goldenkirby, this is a forum to get technical help on Planeshift: it\'s quite obvious if you try to read the forum name. If it was hard to understand before, now that we explained this evident fact to you, you shouldn\'t be confused anymore. If you already knew the purpose of these forums but decided to ignore it, I can only suggest that you go spamming in another place, thank you.

I think the problem here is that you may have violated the Terms of Service for \'Kings of Chaos\' by:

\'Posting your link on a forum where it is against that forum\'s policies or off-topic\'

If you had just posted the link to the game itself then that would have been ok.  But by using the link you did with your playerID you may have violated your ToS and could potentially be reported to Kings of Chaos as abuse.  I will just alter the offending link for now and not pursue the issue.
