Well, I am not running a very fast computer, but definitely fast enough. 2.7ghz processor and a Geforce4 series graphics card with T3 connection. All I want is fullbright capabilities in Hydlaa to reduce lag and better performance in that area since it drastically improved the lag on the road to BD. I may be going too far but I would like to propose fullbright capabilities everywhere until the team has fixed the lag issue.

That's a Crystal Space issue, not a PlaneShift one.  There is no -fullbright for lighter2 yet.

there will not be a --fullbright for lighter2. Many map issues including lag issues with lighter2 maps will be fixed when the maps are relighted next.

All the same GeF4 cards are seriously outdated these days. I got rid of mine more than six months ago. Already the 7600gs is getting a little hoary, AGP anything is pretty much dead in the water. Turn down all the fancies in the setup and you may get some more life out of it. Sad but true that is the computer industry.

When I need to move through or around the Hydlaa Plaza I simply use the Page Down key to look down onto my character. This small measure considerably reduces the effects of lag in that part of Yliakum -sometimes with no stop-motion-photography-like jerkiness at all.

I also have the Home key set to Zoom In and the End key set to Zoom Out -which helps me to avoid running into things!

- running PlaneShift Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.11) Client, on an Apple iMac G5 2GHz PowerPC processor, 2GB DDR SDRAM, an ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card with 128MB VRAM, a 20-inch active-matrix LCD widescreen display, and a 250GB Serial ATA hard drive... so what's your excuse, huh?
