In Game Role Play Events forum Clarification clarification please.

Ok according to the forum clarification sticky posts

1. Things posted here *MUST* have happened in-game.

but the town message boards defy that rule. This is somewhat understandable as they are intended as an extension of the game to cover an element that is currently lacking.

Today we have a reaction to a posting on the Hydlaa message board which forms the basis of a new sticky thread.

The questions are: Does this thread inherit the message boards exemption for happening in game (it seems so); Is this thread intended for any reactions to posted messages on A) just the Hydlaa board; B) any town message board; or C) just the post to which the initial one refers?; Should this thread be moved to another place altogether such as General Discussion or Roleplaying (Communitive Storytelling)?

when a thread is split from one that is stickied, the forum boards sticky the new thread as well.  Mord just forgot to unsticky it after he split it.  No big deal, I've done it numerous times myself.

That wasn't one of the questions. 

I suppose it implies option C of the second question as well as affirmative to the first. Unstickying it means it can now fade away so I suppose the third question is answered in the negative.

Perhaps, I will have to challenge these assumptions, at least the first.

I hadn't realised it auto stickied threads but I also had someone come into the office as I was splitting the thread and forgot to go back and alter the title and yes possibly it should be in general discussion.

Looks like there was no problem with it being for an in context reaction to any message post.
