HOLY *$&@!!!!!!
« on: April 07, 2003, 12:27:31 am »
Ok, listen up. I made a character, and got to the connect screen. So I clicked it, and it took forever to get anywhere, but then the worsst possible thing could\'ve happened. There was a little box that said... \"You will need to reinstall Windows....\" NOOOOOOO!!!! I didn\'t really need to but it scared the hell out of me. And I don\'t know if it really will erase Windows the next time I try to load Planeshift. Any ideas??? (By the way, there\'s a much better game @ (TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE OF \"Mellhanie\"  :D )

Hmm, this is the first case I\'ve ever heard of that.  What version of windows were you using?

Uh... I think I\'m using Windows 98. Does that make a difference? :( . I don\'t know if this was an April Fool\'s Joke (because I downloaded it around that time.) But since nothing happened, I think I can still try again.... *even if it DOES take forever to load. And it didn\'t do anything to my computer*

Ok I tried to run it again *praying* and it said the same thing. Everytime it does this. What happens is it says something about \"Explorer.exe has crashed. You must install Windows again. Blah Blah Blah\" And all the programs on my desktop are taken away. My taskbar at the bottom is gone. And it says it\'s not responding. All the screens get jumbled up and.... o whatever, just everything is messed and I have to reboot the whole computer! So if anyone has any suggestions, besides the one by the administrator at the beginning of the forum (I\'ve seen that a million times) Please help! ;(
