Anti Item sell
« on: June 06, 2008, 08:00:55 pm »
I had a quick look and didn't find anything similar so if this is a repeat request then i apologize.

I find that every time i go to sell any loot i have to tiptoe around my other precious item so not to sell them to a merchant by mistake, this happened to me a wile ago when selling a unused sack, i clicked to sell it and nothing happened so i clicked again then it sold the sack and the item below which happened to be my glyph sack with all my lovely glyphs all gone.

I think it would be useful to have some sort of tick box in a items description to prevent it appearing/been sold, in the sell window.

has been suggested before.... not sure if a formal wish list thread was ever created though.   consider that to be this one until someone comes along and says, "nope, see this thread here: [link] for the first time it was suggseted."

Well, in WoW there's a useful feature called Buyback where you can buy back items you accidentally sold for the same amount of money that you sold them for. I've had to use it a lot...

Hmm, That would only ount when the trading session is still going. With the frequent Server crash here and there, I think Tanner's idea is more suitable  :sorcerer:

Make a feature request on the bug tracker and it will have a better chance.

At the moment you could have dropped your glyph bag so it would not appear on the list but I am not sure why you would want to sell an empty sack anyway as they allow you to carry more types of things than normally. I stick all my sacks at the bottom of my inventory and give spare ones to my alts if I really need to get rid of them. A little off topic I suppose. One trick I have used in the past that may not work now is to put the things I want to sell at the top of my inventory. That probably would not have helped you either.
