quest problem

What is the proper way to ask for help when you think a quest is bugged?  Here?  The bug tracker? Petitions?

I've obtained three items that Sharven requested in order to help someone who needs to be annointed.  He won't accept them, however.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?  Quests have improved greatly, but I've always found this kind of thing the worst part of doing them.  I.e. not knowing if I've missed something or if I've run into a bug, and what to do about it.

I want to say that I am really enjoying quests now, asides from occassional hopefully minor issues like this.  Thanks for all the great work that's been put into them.

Sometime you need to offer them one at a time, sometimes all together and other times you need to say something first.

I've tried giving them all at once and individually, and talking to him about all the major keywords in our previous discussion on this quest.  No luck.  He was quite explicit in saying that I should give him all three, but he won't take them now.

You can always contact a GM ingame or on IRC. Also, always keep an eye on this thread for details on updated quests.

Thanks-- all my activity on this quest has been very recent, since the changes.  I have made a petition as recommended in that thread.

A GM helped me, but we were unable to find any reason why it wasn't working, so it remains uncompleted for me.

I figured it out with help from a GM.  I was making an assumption about one of the items and so had one wrong.  It would be nice if NPCs would say something about why they don't want particular items in cases where there are similar ones around, but I don't expect that's easy to implement.  Thanks to Rennaj and Rizin for their help.  I have now completed the quest.
