Well after my windows-client is randomly dying I thought I'd run it under gdb and to run gdb I have to run it under mingw, I think.
After my initial surprise that the options are stored in a different place I played the game for some seconds until someone lit a torch.
The last thing is see in gdb is "program exited with code 037777777777".
Before that, there is the message "Distribute leafobjects failed - !leaf_replaced"
