But I've probably made about 5 discussion threads in the 6 or so years I've been here.

Besides those jewels, you forget to mention adding so many colours in some other people's threads (for the great pleasure of some of us)
But they'll have to admit it was well-deserved. Mostly anyway.
I have a feeling it'd quickly devolve into a popularity contest rather than what it should be, a commendation of people who've helped PS out a lot (community wise). And I'm betting it wouldn't take neko long to shut it down.
Gronomist would've certainly closed this kind of thread instantly, but I'm not sure she's still around.
Another problem with that is the "ever" part: a big share of voting people would only consider the last months and in general everyone will only see a limited span of PS history. There was a lot of contribution at the beginning that very few would take into account (I have pictures to illustrate that, it's just that I daren't show them here
).
