Depends on who you ask. If you ask me, I've only just begun.
Doesn't mean you're not just as ancient as the rest of us, if not moreso.
There's a fine line between genius and insanity.

Fortunately, I have good balance.

I am older than time itself!

I just came back for a laugh after I saw the SA review.

I miss arguing with you and Draklar all the time.
Aww... <3 you too, Kiern.

Also, hail Xalthar! \m/

Also, if you can get word to Kada tell her I miss her :D

I heard Kada El went to another game.  one set in space.  Eve something.

Her e-mail is still posted in PS forum, though I would try to contact her there and see if same person.

Kada was deeply ingrained into PS and had many good friends here...no way she just disappeared like that to go to some silly space game.  Even if she did get pissed off, there's plenty of us who were far removed from the "community" (see: the entirety of OI/The Tavern) that it would not affect.

Shutup, Draklar.

...have to get it out of my system every now and then.

This stems from the fact there is/was a "Kadael" player playing that game. However, if you looked at Kadael's forum posts, it really isn't likely to be our Kada.

I agree with Draklar, besides the obvious birthday mismatch and the US spelling, you can tell from their contents that these posts are definitely not hers.

Kada left Planeshift and the online community/life in general around March 2005 because of some important turns in her life, which out of respect for her privacy I won't detail. It was quite a difficult period and real life put a lot of pressure on her, leaving little to enjoy the usual tavern parties. Then life finally quieted down but time passed and made it more and more difficult for her to come back, especially after one very happy event that really made her turn the page - I don't think she would mind me telling that one - a lovely baby Kada :).

Back then it didn't sound right to write that in a forum so I passed her farewell and apologies for not coming back along to several people, but today I think it is just fair to let know anyone else who still wonders. There's only so much speculation we can allow, isn't there? ;)

It is so kind of you to update the people here about Kada. I did not have the pleasure to meet her, but the stories I have heard are just wonderful. If you still are in contact with her CadRipper do you think she would be interested in a Reunion of old PS'ers?

So now I ask if anyone is still in contact with anyone that used to play, can you please ask your friends if they would be interested in a Reunion? PM me if you can bring someone so I know if there is any interest in it.

Thank you all for your time.

Why can't it be people that currently play? What's this fixation about the old and dying?
* Sangwa grins.

To define Reunion according to Websters:

Main Entry: re·union
Pronunciation: \(ˌ)rē-ˈyün-yən\
Function: noun
Date: 1610
1 : an act of reuniting : the state of being reunited
2 : a reuniting of persons after separation

That is why it is a party for players that no longer play. It is called a Reunion for this reason.
Sangwa please feel free to have a 'party' for the current active players. That would be fun too.
* Mathy Stockington mean no offense here to the current community. I hope that is understood.

* whispers to Sangwa and Draklar
Watch out, I think this is a trap to eliminate the oldbies! They will gather us someplace and rip our souls, seen it before!

But yes, seriously Mathy... why this urge to make players that don't play anymore revive characters that don't live anymore? Is that for some kind of study?

I just thought it might be nice to see old friends that have left. Most people have friends that they miss. Also it might make a nice role play event that all players could be involved in. I do enjoy role playing. That is all. If you find the idea offensive or upsetting please let me know. If that is the case, then in advance I wish to apologize. It is not my intent.

Think of them all as that grumpy old man that lives at the end of the lane who sits on their porch every day in their rocking chair yelling at all the kids that go by to stay off their lawn.

This is not what this thread is for. Again I think it would be better not to have the Reunion. neko please feel free to delete all this.
* Mathy Stockington is sad.
