Cant Get PS to Start

I've been trying to get Planeshift to start for days, no matter what i do it always says " C:/program Files/ Planshift Steel Blue/Psclient.exe has Failed to start becuase the application configuration is incorrect. reinstalling the application May ix this problem. I have no idea what to do and need some one to give me instructions to fix this problem.  ???

but that should not be required on anyones system, keep telling players to install it will not help us in solving the issue that makes it needed.

Agreed, but I only wanted to give the only solution I know to this problem.

My programming skills are 0, but some random sites told me that this can be caused by not exporting a manifest file.
I'll take up any hint what I should have posted instead  :)

I had the same problem and believe me Sen's link really helps. I can really recommend it until the problem can be solved within the Planeshift releases.

Sen's fix should be in a sticky. It took me hours of screwing round before i found this & it worked.
