The Mercenary Guild

I recently setup the mercenary guild, I am looking for fresh recruits. I am also curious to see what the demand for mercenaries is like; could you see yourself employing bodyguads or mercs to perform other functions when the game has acctually begun?  :))

 Also i was wodering if it is acctually possible to become an official guild and if so how do I do it?

Absolutely masive response from everyone...    ;( but anyway thats beside the point. I did some work on the guild today and its changed quite considerably... Also for all those that probably won\'t read this on the site, heres  quite a hefty explination as to what the guild actually is about, enjoy...

?There is one certainty, and that is death?  

The greatest battle a warrior must face is the battle against fear.  All who take the life of the mercenary have emerged victorious from this conflict.  When death is no longer feared, an obstacle becomes a tool.  This tool shall not be used in the name of politics, honour, justice or love.  The services of the Guild may only be called upon in exchange for currency.  A life is worthless, until a bounty is placed upon it.  Beyond that, your motivations are not our concern.

?Death is the only law, and we are its masters?  

Our world is one of chaos, not order, and strength inevitably triumphs ? the Guild is a bastion of strength and, inevitably, it shall triumph.  If you are weak, our strength may be purchased.  The guild offers a range of services, a range of prices, and a range of operatives.  The harder the job, the higher the price; the more experienced the operative you choose to employ, the more you must pay.  Espionage, guild wars, body guarding, armed escort, garrisoning ? all are within our abilities, as long as they are within your budget.  If you have the gold, we have the steel.

?We are a brotherhood of blood?

Be aware, that while the Guild is above the petty squabbles of politics, and its primary motivation is the pursuit of wealth, its members are loyally bound to each other through their knowledge of pain.  Treachery shall not be tolerated, whether between members or from outsiders.  The pride of the Guild shall at all times be maintained, and shall be mortally defended by its champions if it is challenged.  Therefore, do not doubt that to cross us is to welcome death, no matter how much you can pay.

If, having read and understood the above, you wish to join our ranks or are prepared to purchase our services, then welcome to the home of the Mercenary Guild .

Hitman quit spamming the board with your off-topic scope guild! Plus your website is more like a screenshot website not a guild website.

by the way its Mercenaries and i made the Mercenaries Guild, u have the Mercenary Guild which dosent make sense

is yes this is very true so i have no made the Assassins Guilds for any members skilled in assassin traits or stealth skills

I have had little response in terms of hiring the guild, however i think given the current limitations of the game this is understandable. As such i have a belief that the employmetnt of the guild won\'t really begin until the game has undergone a fair bit more develoment.

However the guild has undergone a fair amount of growth, and we have a fair few new apprentices.

Thankyou for being gracious enough to let me keep the mercenary guild title. And good luck with the assassins guild, however im not sure how possible such a guild is, given that pVp combat is banned everywhere except the arena.

srry dude but i gotta say this.... ur website looks extremly crappy i seriuosly would start from scratch and change the colors make them one color like shades of blue or red

The site\'s not bad, Its not extremely crappy either. . . The worst about it is maybe that the links on the left are too spaced out, but thats it.

Ok, i updated the site (http://www.darkzephyr.plus.com), its better. Its not perfect, but then it never will be...

To come back to your point about the title  \"Mecenary Guild\" not making any sense: mercenary is both a noun and an adjective. in my title it is used as an adjective, a person can be described as being mercenary (ie John is mercenary) meaning the person is motivated by a desire for money:

Therefore \"Mercenary Guild\" means = a guild that will fight for money, and/or is motivated by greed (depending on if you want to look at the more negative aspects).
