Map or something that helps navigating

Is there a map about the world in the game or maybe in the internet? It's a bit difficult to navigate cause I always don't know where I am and how to find special places.

What would you do if you arrive somewhere in an unknown city and you look for special things there?
- You look on your navigation system  (no, we are in a medieval world...)
- You can look if you find a shop where someone sells maps that fits your needs (not very probable in a medieval world)
- You can ask people around
- You can explore and learn yourself

But you can (probably) not
- just know everything
- summon a map what shows you all secret and interesting places

Uhm... to sum up: There are places in the internet, but they are spoilers as far as I know.

You are always free to use the search function of this forum. Many many many questions of newbies have been answered in this forum a thousend times.

The best thing to do is to ask others (politely). Joining a guild will put you in touch with knowledgeable players...and perhaps maps too. There are some players out there who sell maps, if you can find them.
At the moment the world really isn`t all that big. Give it time and you`ll become familiar with the lay of the land.
