Npc won't understand me

HI I am in tutorial place and I am at the guard in the park at the lower level. When I talk to him say stuff like no to him he says that whole thing that means he can't understand me please help.

I had the same problem. Talk to the firs woman (shes red i think) and if she says she doesnt understand (youve already said 'hi' and 'give me quest'), try saying yes. !notice! make sure the red circle thing is aroud her feet when you talk to her. Also, make sure you have the NPC tab selected in your chat window.

Hi Omni,

if the answers the walkthrough suggests for the "guard" (was it Xargon?) don't work, make sure you
have done all the steps before with the other NPCs correctly (compare it with the walkthrough).
The sequence is important in the tutorial.

And don't give up, the NPCs are stupid but once you've learned how they 'tick' it gets easier.
