Giving multiples of an item
« on: July 22, 2008, 12:44:11 pm »
OK I've searched and I can't find an answer to this.

(I'll point out first I'm using the Mac version in case this a version specific thing)

I need to give an NPC 5 of an item but when I try to drag that item over it only comes as a single one instead of the multiple. I try and drag them over one by one but then I am given the message 'You cannot move an item being exchanged.' And because, I guess, the quest is specific I have to give him the item in a bundle of 5. I can't give him 5 times 1 of the item in different slots. t also won't let me 'stack' 5 times 1 of a single item in the same slot.

So how can I pick up and move multiple items instead of single?

Sorry if this has been answered before or if I am being stupid.

EDIT Yes I am a stupid NOOB I was using Shift to pick up and not CTRL.

If a Mod wants to delete this thread or whatever. Thanks

Thanks in advance.

I use linux, but this should work also. Click (with no modifier... no ctrl... no shift) and you should get a pop-up for how many you would like to select. This should solve your problem.
