[RP - The Royal House of Purrty - UPDATES]
« on: September 24, 2006, 02:17:19 am »
[This thread is for all the Role Play that the House of Purrty is generating for its members, friends and anyone who wants to join in.   Here will be IC information - OOC updates and information - Rumours and such like and discussions on how this RP is comming along.

Lolitra]

The Curse of that has plagued the Royal House of Purrty has finally been destroyed.   But alas, Her Royal Highness Lolitra Hollinthy Purrty, suffered severe wounds from shards off of an exploding sword made of crystal.  Her seemingly lifeless body has been taken back to her home in Printh.  Countess Shauri Sut'lar, who was recently dubbed a Duchess, also sufferd the same fate, in the final battle with the curse known as Hagarath, and her body too has been transported to Printh.

Printh mourne their loss, but pray for a mirical of ressurection.

Lord Major Zinnius Zann also heroicly faught against the demon Hagarath, and was the last to be standing on the field of battle.  He arranged that Duvare [who had followed them to their place of war and suffered at the hands of Hagarath causing her to collapse in agony] be taken to the Temple in Hydlaa for recouperation, and then went too to Printh to mourne his wife's death, and the death of his Queen.

Lord Raouldir Paxar Chancellor and Regent, who is very old, has fallen ill as a result of this great tragidy, and looks as if he could die...  giving in to his old age.

ooc - we will be taking some time out of PS, My wife may wish to come back at some point in the next few days or so - but that would entail her being RP'ed as resurrected.

[we would both like to express are deepest thanks to all who have RP'd with us over the couple of years we have played within the confides of this game.  It has been fun - but I [husband] shall most likely not be returning.]

[I only recently came back and found the Purrty twins to be of royal blood, you probably don;t remember me from when you first arrived in Yliakum, Demarthl was going through some dark times then, despite his trying to help anyone he could, if you remember, he eventually took his life, shortly after one of the twins died, but while I was here, playing with you guys, it was fun and memorable, sorry to see you go]

hmm sorry to hear this. Haven't really gotten to know the two of you as good as I planned to. Different times online I guess, but just need to say thankf for the comments on my story on the other forums.

Hope that we will see you both ingame though.

There are many who have sent messages to us 'expressing their upset' about the fact that they were not included in the 'end game'.  Where we are sorry that they felt left out, and can only apologise for any 'bad feelings' that this may have caused, please let us remind you that there are real life issues that dictate to us how and when we can play games in our spare time.

We always played for the moment, and tried not to force others to be tied to times of our gaming. It was not possible for us to please all all of the time, and such expectations on us by so many is just unfair, and was one of the reasons why this has come about.

Please feel free to be as cynical as you like...  after all this world of PS is only a game - Real life is far more important.

We are, however, truly greatful to all those who took the time to RP with us while we played in its charming and growing lands, and who we hope will still be willing to partake in any future RP should the Purrty lineage be 'saved'.

That is the most intelligent thing I've read on these forums in a long, long time.

Well, I am sorry to see you two go and I truly hope that you will come back to visit. I can understand how real life can cut down the time you may have for PS as I am facing the same issue and indeed RL is much more important.  I have enjoyed my time with you both when your roleplay stories have crossed with mine. I have found you both to be very good at setting an example of a roleplay environment, and hope that your teachings will live on through others. I am glad I had the chance to meet you both and my best wishes to you and your family. *Big Hugs!*

:flowers: Oh and thank you for distributing my writing [husband], I appreciate you helping me spread the word and not let my writing go to waste. I will forever be grateful.
I've been outside, it's overrated and the graphics suck!

It is for me to decide which questions I choose to answer, and which I do not, is that not so? I could not be bothered explaining myself.

*Phinehas nods and smiles slightly.*

You are welcome to think what you like. I suggest, however, that you keep it to yourself before you show true ignorance.

:offtopic: If I could I would delete both of the previous posts.  They detract from the Thread. - and besides, if one cannot be bothered to explain ones post - why bother posting in the first instance - rather pointless really.

There is a silent peace and constant prayer in the lands of Printh, where Printhians all pray to their chosen god Talad.  Rumour is now spreading rapidly through the Printh that there is yet hope in a set of legendary Mantra stones cast to the winds and lost in places unknown...

hmm indeed. Phinehas seems to be making it a habit to make people think he knows more then he actually does. Makes him feel important I guess.

Anyhow back on topic. Does this mean the guild will also be disbanded? Or will someone else be appointed leader so the group can still rleplay together as they used to?

I hope to still see the House of Purrty around. [when I finally get the other computer to work as it should again :P ] It would be strange to see a house like that dissapear although indeed guilds die out quite a bit.
