The Nuisance Slayers!

IC: I was simply in the Tavern one day talking to Pretty Fenki, when this one character started rustling up some mischief! He was such a nuisance. It made me realize just how many people there are in Yliakum that act like such nuisances! So I decided that I must take it upon myself, the self-appointed Supreme Ruler of Kada-Els, the self-appointed Controller of Everyone, and the Self-Appointed Ruler of Everything, to slay these nuisances! So everyone who is sick of all the mischief and nuisances join me, and slay all of the nuisances!

OOC: The point of this guild is basically just to have fun while sparking a bit of RP. We'll take suggestions of people who other's call 'nuisances' and we will prank them and all around cause them trouble, thereby becoming bigger nuisances ourselves! Of course, all of the dealing with nuisances will be non-life threatening, just very annoying (dumping buckets of lard on them, painting their faces while they sleep, etc.)

Guild Ranks:

1. New Guy (This is the new guy, show him the ropes (or tie his feet with rope and dunk him in a bucket of lard, hehehe))
2. Grunt (He does all the hard, boring work, because that's no fun.)
3. Slayer In-training (Now you learn how to actually do the fun stuff!)
4. Nuisance Slayer (Once you've help teach a few nuisances their lesson!)
5. Genius Plotter (Really smart and comes up with all the good plans. If he comes up with a bad plan, he goes back down to grunt and we make him clean the toilets (and stick his head in, hehehe))
6. Organizer (Make sure the slayer goes according to plan and there are no screw-ups!)
7. Veteran Slayer (These guys have taught more nuisances more lessons than an enki has hairs!)
8. Higher-Ups (These guys pretend to have power, but it's only what Timmy says that goes.)
9. King Timmy (The ruler of the guild. The self-appointed Supreme Ruler of Kada-Els, the self-appointed Controller of Everyone, and the Self-Appointed Ruler of Everything)

Not only is this a waste of time, but you're going to go around griefing poor noobs who know no better. And all in the name of your, and your "suggestors" opinion on what constitutes a nuicance.

[Donari, let's try to keep it more positive here please, thank you.  Criticism without any advice isn't very helpful.

Some suggestions on this to avoid any more instantaneous negative impressions of this guild would be to rethink your idea of pranking.  What I mean by this is that you can't go around messing with a character for x amount of time just because someone told you to...  That's harassment.  Dajoji's right in saying you should watch the line with how far you go, maybe limiting yourself to one prank per particular character for 'x' amount of time, and the depth of the prank based on either how many people request to prank that person, or maybe even charge a fee to prank people, and the fee can dictate the level of prank.

There's always a fine line to walk with pranking to make sure no one gets truly offended...  OOC contacting might be a good idea before you start bothering their character.

Concerning the rank names, you might want to consider hot to really bend the system to what your guild will need.  I mean, having 8 ranks with practically no difference except standing in the guild doesn't seem very effective]

A guild of prankster prankers?  It doesn't exactly fit the definition of a guild but then, few other's do   Just be careful you don't become a guild of trolls.

As Aro said, use the ranks system don't let it use you.  If your guild only needs three ranks only have three ranks.

I'd rather if you stopped, thought for a moment and then tried to do something more creative, even if you decide to keep the entertaining tone. No problem with making up something like this though, but I doubt other people will join this sketch-like, jokish guild.
